Predictable Problems

January 30th, 2008 by admin

Sometimes we ask for organizational trouble by not thinking ahead to avoid problems. We become so used to being insulted and frustrated by the conditions in the house that we begin to think of them as normal and unavoidable.

I used to suffer the same inconveniences over and over again because I never took time to thoughtfully prepare to make things easier for myself. Finally I admitted that I would not let other do to me what I was doing to myself. this realization propelled me to make changes. Suddenly I could move more effortlessly through every day.

A few proactive steps can save time and work and keeps us sailing smoothly in calm organizational waters. For example, youll head off many predictable problems if you simply buy a manageable bedcover. Youll avoid having a soiled, messy look to your bed if you buy a duvet with an easy-on-easy-off cover. When your bed needs freshening, youll be able to pop it in the washing machines effortlessly instead of wrestling with the whole comforter, which may be difficult to wash and dry at home. youll have the additional advantage of being able to change the mood of your room just by changing the coverlet. Store several for seasonal change. You can also try writing storage reminders. If you split up like items in storage, place a reminder note with each stash reminding you where the other items are stored.
